About Me

Yuting Wu began her study in the United States after getting admitted to the George Washington University (GWU) in 2017. She pursued a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at the School of Media and Public Affairs at GWU. She took a gap year during the COVID-19 pandemic from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021. Now she is a graduate student in the Communication, Culture, and Technology program at Georgetown University. Meanwhile, she is pursuing the Honors Certificate in International Business Diplomacy at Georgetown.

Yuting is passionate about journalism, communication, media-related work, business, and ESG. Her three-year experience as the president of her high school's drama club made her value teamwork as well. As the single child in her family, she likes to spend her time watching movies, playing the piano, the guzheng, and the guitar, and walking her two dogs, a Poodle and a Bichon Frise, when she is at home.

She started her personal channel on Xiaohongshu, a Chinese social media platform, in December 2018. Through learning video production techniques in class, she loves making videos, especially vlogs. Positive comments from her followers are her biggest motivation to run her channel. Yuting thinks making videos is not only about gaining followers but is also a meaningful way to transfer positive attitudes to people. She wishes she could create something special and meaningful on this media platform in the future.
